What Do YOU Take for your Headache...???

I take Ibuprofen mostly...what works best for You?

Vanquish are the best OTC headache pills out there. Also try a really hot shower beating down on the back of your neck and shoulders, then gradually taper off the hot up until it is almost ice cold, then heat it up again. Believe me, it works; my elderly auntie told me this trick a long time ago when I was suffering splitting headaches.

I try not to take anything but usually I take Excedrin for a headache. Ibuprofen for muscle aches. Aspirin for "jumpy" legs or a tooth ache. And never Tylenol because it flat our doesn't work for me.

I am very sensitive to a lot of medications, so I try my best to avoid them. Rest, relaxation and a heating pad does me good for the most part, but if all three of these fail me, then it's a generic form of Tylenol, or Tylenol 3 (if available).

Four Ibuprofen 200mg, or the Tylenol 3's.

I don't get too many headaches but when I do I use Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Advil.....whatever is in the medicine cabinet.

If it's a minor one, I take a BC, but if it's a migraine, I take Ibu. 800 or Excedrine Migraine and or go to a dark quite room, cool rag on my face and try to pass out before I throw up.
