When is it busy in the philippines for the chines new year? what dates can i expect to find difficulties finding accomodation during that period? many thanks.

18th through to the 20th. Above answers quite accurate. Chinese year is a a great time to party. I used to live in Korea and Chinese new year celebrations are always more important there than the christian Jan 1st new year.

Chinese New Year is 18Feb. The closed out date of the hotels/resorts are 1 week before & after of that date.

from 17th till 22nd feb as new year is 18th-20th feb. the chinese really celebrate their new year so it wil be very busy!
