On the whole are men really better drivers than women?

I have come to believe that yes, men are the better drivers....sometimes us women are just plain stupid on the roads (especially the younger ones). Sorry girls, it hurts me to say this - prove me wrong!!

I think that there is a case study on this that actually states that while in general women are likely to get less frustrated and angry while driving, they tend to be more easily distracted or likely to do other things whilst driving.
Hair, make up, shoes, stockings even, hand up I bet you have done it as well...

So what is the verdict anger and frustration vs distraction?

it is hard to pick which is worse but in pinch i would say distraction, even so I know statisically youunger men are by far the worst drivers, more over they are reckless in general.

of course there are exceptions to every rule and i have seen a few very frustrated and angry women drivers in my time. and guy getting distracted, well who wouldnt on the coast in summer... lol

Yes, I do think that men are better drivers. Men intentionally take the risks that they do. Women are distracted by other things (hair, makeup, cell phone, etc.) and never had a chance to pay attention.

I can't remember the last time that I saw a woman driving and she didn't have a cell phone in her hand. I've seen too many women checking their hair at a stop, and continuing to mess with it after they start moving again. That is a great formula to hit a pedestrian or a red light runner.

On the most part...Men are better but I think it's because many women get nervous. Like bad weather and all that. Not saying all men are better. Plus men are into cars were women could careless.

But on a whole i would say no, because just about every hoon on the road is a male.

Yes this has been established by scientists. Men are better at distance perception. Men's brains are more logical and practical. This is scientific fact. This doesn't mean men are superior, it means the genders are different and have their strengths and weaknesses. And there are exceptions in both.

Absolutely men are! Men have the ability to focus on driving more than women do. Women get distracted due to all the things going on in their life and their PMS and cramping and things like that. It is okay though, because men are supposed to take care of their women by driving when they are together.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a terrible driver. totaled 2 cars, so i think men are better drivers, but they don't know where theyre going.
