I am on the same boat as you. Well sort of.. I like the fact that you can celebrate your relationship but all the cupid stuff is stupid.

Yeah it is a pretty cheesy holiday...and i am not particularily fond of it to be honest with you ...but then i think hey, for the couples that are in love, it must be a pretty special holiday, even though..its not really about showing your partner how much you care...cuz that should be something you do everyday..its more like just taking the international "i´m in love day" and just celebrating the idea of love itself, you know...so in a way, cheesy is kinda cute...and im not at all romantic so you should know this just my crazy point of view, even as just an outsider looking in on the whole occasion.

I agree and I think they have taken it too far. At one time it was a day that a man got a woman a card or a flower to show his love or to make her his valentine and NOW....People spend loads of money on both male/female. Seems retarded too me. I was shocked yesterday by hearing some females list all the things they were getting their boyfriends..Sounded more like a xmas list..

they had a few months with no money coming in to the store so they made a way

call me cold-hearted but i agree. valentines day is really annoying...with the fluffy teddy bears and "i wuv u" candy hearts...
