Y'all above me seriously think that the Red Sox organization will let themselves be in third place again like last year, not likely. The Blue Jays may be competitive, but it's going to be between the Yanks and Red Sox as it usually is. Hopefully all the bad luck has been worn out and some good will come this year for the Red Sox.

As for those Yankee (and other) fans making crass comments about the Red Sox, get a life people... and try to be civil, even your crazy players are civil... (well, 'cept for Randy Johnson, and you got rid of him...)

Sorry man, I can tell by your name soxfan, you want me to pick the Red Sox. As an impartial observer - i'm a Cubs fan - I just can't pick them. Your lineup with Ortiz, Manny, a questionable Drew, a recovering Crisp, I do like Youkilis, just doesn't stack up to Yankees. I hate it too, I hate Jeter, Giambi and ******.

As for pitching, well your rotation could easily be the best in leagues, or one of the worst. Schilling could be an ace, but he is really old. Beckett could be an ace, but he breaks down. Dice-K, never thrown a pitch in the major leagues, Papelbon has never started a major league game. Wakefield is easily the best 5th starter around, but he's pretty predictable with how his end of the year numbers will be. For the last couple years the Yankees had a terrible rotation, but Wang, Moose, Pettite are good and if they get Clemens or call up Philip Hughes mid-season, they'll be tough to beat.

I'm still rooting for the Sox in the east though. Oh and then it'll Blue Jays, Orioles, D-Rays.

As a Sox fan I am used to finishing behind the Yankees for the AL East crown. As long as we win the wild card berth, anything can happen in the playoffs

The Detroit is reeling from their bad defeat. This SOX year
is a builder, with the last trade of Nixon, there is a new lineup.
The best I offer is hound the office for fans, the stale use of
same lineup is crums. Sox have by far the best team per person and potentially. Will they bring in artillery or wimp out at
the root beer stadium. See the new stadium at Polaroid club.
Maybe they should kayak. Boston is not supposed to play
without a team effort. Olympian squad will be good. See gold
at the olympia cape cod, 32 for 32 in top leagues. Last year
Brazil was the new luncheon. Bat Ramirez first sometimes.
