Okay people if you are going to say something about Muslims, please let it be accurate...because saying things about Allah, suicide bombings...is not funny at all and it is very disrespectful...so please keep people's feelings in mind. Thank you.

People fear what they don't understand, and the media has helped to demonize the Muslim community. I'm not a Muslim myself, but if I was I would be outraged at the acts of other Muslims in the middle east. Muslim sects kill each other every day in the name of Allah. And last time I checked there were no homosexual car bombings.

I personally have nothing against homosexuals or Muslims, but I do have an issue with fundamentalists, of almost any religion. It seems these bad examples of Christianity, Judaism, Muslim, etc always come from fundamentalists. And these people make a MUCH stronger impression than the 98% of the religious body that is living in a peaceful manner.

If Muslims want to stop the criticism against them, they need to band together and speak loudly. Educate the public, show the public the true nature of the Muslim community, because right now all thats getting shown is Muslim on Muslim and Muslim on USA hate.

If by serving Allah means that you kill all the "infidels" than you can see why people would criticize Muslims. It also has to do with the fact that many Muslim sects are very closed to the rest of the society, just like Orthodox Jews. This lack of interaction with people who are not Muslims leads to many misunderstanding and lots of stereotypes. As to homosexuals well we have barely scratched the surface in being accepted. If you haven't noticed more than 20 states have banned same sex marriage and in most other countries you can be prosecuted for being gay.

If you want people to understand your religion (I am assuming you are Muslim) then interact with them so they can remove any false ideas of what a Muslim is and their beliefs.

Pink... not all Muslims blow themselves up either. There are those that have those views, they are taught and raised that their sacrifice and he sacrifice of others is the only way that they can make a statement. But for the person that is asking this question, who are you to question someone's beliefs? And you don't know who accepts who? Homosexuality is not something that is accepted by everyone and neither is the Muslim religion and there are some people that do not believe in eating Ice Cream for breakfast or in wearing cotton socks with gym shoes. I mean, you are trying to strike out at one group of people because your beliefs are attacked. Sorry for you, but it is not okay that you do the same. Who are you to say what's right and what's wrong?

If you don't want a rude comment, you shouldn't ask a rude question.

My wife and I are very polite to Muslim people, and we have Muslim friends and acquaintances, but some Muslims have been very unfriendly to us. We even had a Muslim woman charge up to our very own doorstep and tell us we shouldn't kiss there! And sometimes radical Muslims point to LGBT people as something wrong with America.

We live in a land of freedom where you can cover your head, shave it, or let long hair flow free, a land where you can walk behind a man or hold a woman's hand, a land where you can live the life you want as long as nobody else is being hurt or coerced. It should apply to all of us. I want a more grown-up society that accepts these differences.

By the way, you may be interested in this recent blog entry I wrote (in part) about being mistaken for Muslim when I covered my wet hair on a cold day. It also happened to my wife, when she covered her buzz-cut head to keep warm.

I am in America ,,, and I have many objections to the daily subjection of the muslim murders by sick islamic sects.
Homosexuals rarely if ever murder the innocents .
Serious
No one here objects to anyone to worship as they please.
You can just as well worship Jim Jones or D of heavens gate.
We don't care how stupid you wish to be
JUST don't tell me I am an infidel any more that you following the most murderest religion in today's history
I would rather have homosexuals banging themselves in the streets than to see the mutilated bodies your suicide bombers of the women and children or the head of the bomber and his/her decapitated body that I have seen on TV.
No GOD of compassion or Peace would demand this (quran 8.7)
Today we see muslim killing muslim all around the world.
WHERE IS YOU ALLAH.
Even the leadership of your (sickness) religion are in fear of their death to protest the insanity.
You and your brothers and sisters MUSLIMS control your religion, condemn the hate and violence prosecute the murders stop the corruption from your fellow muslims in control of the other countries.
If you wish to worship what we know as any GOD do so.
In America you become an infidel just as I,, because the quran forbid you to reject any word of your prophet. or the quran.
So by your religion you become a heretic like myself.
Welcome to the New World.

Your question is based on a couple of false premises and you mixed two ideas that have nothing to do with one another.

1. Why do you say it is wrong for muslims to serve their god?
2. What plane of reality do you inhabit that gays walk around there with no cares at all?
3. what does one have to do with the other?

I really wish chools would teach people how to reason.

That all depends on HOW Muslims try to serve their God. Why would I criticize homosexuals? That isn't their religion, it's their sexual identity. I will criticize fanatical Muslims for as long as they believe it's OKAY to behead, abuse women and children and try to convert all to Islam.

That's a strange comparrison, Allah is a religion-homosexuality is not. I am not muslim or gay but believe me, gay people have it very rough. Honestly, I don't know anything about muslims or your religion. But I have a very good friend that is gay and he has a very hard time with verbal abuse.
