Why is talking about their feelings so difficult? Well...can you tell me?

I can. I'm feeling happy right now because it's Friday and I can be myself again. I've missed you so much these last two days.

Because of society. I am quite willing to talk about my feelings if only there was someone to LISTEN to me. Usually it's one of these things instead:
1. There is no one the guy can trust to listen and understand
2. If there is, the guy is usually unpleasantly surprised because the person ridicules him, pokes fun at him or tells him to "be a man"
3. If that person actually listens to the guy, it doesn't mean she genuinely feels for him. She might be putting on an act and lose respect for him immediately. Fear of losing respect, status and power prevents guys from opening up. We feel vulnerable. Not because of opening us but because of people's REACTIONS. I once told a girl how I felt and she never talked to me again.

Leftover symdrome from caveman days and I'm NOT talking GEICO insurance cavemen.
I don't think a lot of guys are self aware enough to KNOW what they are feeling.

One of the following:
- Lack of expression.
- Sensitivity is not sexy..to them anyway.
- Ego problems.
