Best thing for your back!!!
Chiropractors rule...
They stretch your legs, back, neck.. make things pop!!.make you feel REALLY good, dont be scared!!!

Don't be scared, Chiropractors have been around for along time now. Yes, initially the medical community didn't give them the regard they are due, that has changed over time.
I have needed to seek the services of a Chiropractor a number of times and have only had one occasion where I felt I was in the hands of a "quack". That instance I needed an MRI, which I felt he should have had the knowledge and understanding to discern. However in all fairness to him the Medical doctor I saw afterwards didn't feel it was necessary either, and after I insisted on it he apologized all over himself when he got the results back.
You shouldn't have any worries, go see the Chiropractor of your choosing and he will do all that is needed to make you feel fine again.

Like the others have said, just relax. You will enjoy it and feel so much better after. Chiropractors work with your muscles, mainly, then your bones, and then your mind. They don't even hurt at all.
I had a very bad fall some years ago in which the base of my spine was fractured. I could not even move. Neighbors drug me to a vehicle in which I could get to a chiropractor. He put some deep sonic electric strobes in there. He kept up with the intensity until I said "Quit". But it helped. I went two times for that and it surely cured me.
Don't be afraid of the Chiropractor.
I realize some people put them down. But I have seen so many people, including me, helped so much.

Don't stress it too much sweetheart, things like that happen to everyone once in awhile, don't worry the chiropractor will know what to do, that's why they're there. If not, they wouldn't even be chiropractors, am I right? It's probably just a dislocated bone, they will fix it back into place & give you some sort of medications to treat the backache.

You should go to your MD not a Chiropractor.Falling down a flight of stairs is a "big deal" and would need more than a X-ray than a Chiropractor could provide.Your back and vertebral bodies are very important body structures, and are too important to risk permanent injury. SW RNP

Chiropractors are great, they are a type of alternative medicine. I love my best friend, business partner, and chiropractor. Ask the one your going to about magnetic therapy for the pain. If they don't know about this contact me and I can help you.

RELAX! A chiropractor will NOT hurt you. He/she will uses their hands to push and readjust the vertebra in your spine and/or neck. You will feel pressure (from their hands) and will probably hear cracking/poping noises -- don't be scared. It's the same noise (on a larger scale) you hear if you crack your knuckles. I hope your back feels better soon!

Best thing to do is to steer clear of chiropractors!! Go to a real doctor, they know what to do.

First they will take an x-ray to see if you broke anything and to also see how you are aligned. Then you may be adjusted, all they do is push on your back...it doesn't hurt and you will feel alot better.
