Mike Meyers and Dana Carvey used to be good friends and had a skit on Saturday Night Live called "Wayne's World". Wayne's World was also made into 2 movies. However, as a big fan of the movies, I wish there was a 3rd movie, but I've heard that there is now some bad blood between Meyers and Carvey over who came up with the idea for Austin Powers... is this true... and please elaborate on your response

When they took "Wayne's World" from TV to film, Myers wanted to downplay the Garth character and make the movie more about Wayne. Carvey felt that his contributions were just as significant, and he wanted equal time in the flick. This led to some bad blood between them.

I'm not really sure...I haven't heard any of that

I do know, that while Myers was making tons of money with Austin Powers, Carvey was battling some kind of disease...I don't think it was a form of cancer..might of been... I don't recall
anyway, Master of Disguise was supposed to be his comeback...but after how horrible that movie turned out, it wouldn't surprise me if he hung it up
