Yes it does. A pig knows its own species so knows that it would be one. They are one of the few mammals that have self regognition when presented with a mirror. The only other animals to do this are dolphins and chimps.

Any pig born and raised in a litter of it's brothers and sisters will know that it is the same as them.
If a pig is taken from it's mother and raised by a human on a bottle it will probably identify with the human.
It is notoriously hard to return an animal raised by humans to it's original kind weather it is in the wild or captivity.

So a pig only knows he's a pig if he is raised as a pig.

I do not think pigs have been subjected to the " gold standard " test of self awareness yet; the mirror test. You could educate yourself in this area of consciousness, test the pig and report on it in a scientific journal.

I think like most animals pigs are too clever to become concerned with philosophy. I have never met an existentialist horse for instance.

i know lots of pigs, mostly human, and i am sure they know how bad mannered they are. the animal pigs have better manners and i am sure they must ask themselves if we know ourselves, and if we do then some of us should be ashamed at the way be behave
