Hello all! Im 33 weeks pregnant and i just see alot of ladies on here talking about having Braxton Hicks 5-6 times a day........

My question is I dont get them AT ALL! Is this strange? Does any one else not have braxton hicks contractions? I had them 3 times when i was about 20 weeks along or so but nothing since then. Does that mean my body is not preparing yet?
THANKS!

Not all women will really get them. Some will live with them..lol...and others may get them one or two times and be done with them. There are no two pregnancies alike so don't stress about if you're ready or not. Look at it this way, you had them when you were 20 weeks along and your body wasn't ready to push that kiddo out yet, so don't think that not having them is your bodies way of telling you it's a no go. Good luck.

I think every woman is different. I don't believe it is bad thing if you don't get them...or maybe you do get them and just don't realize you are! Sometimes I can tell when I have them, other times I accidently brush my hand across my belly and only then do I realize I'm having one! Or maybe you have them at night while you're asleep!

If you aren't having any I don't think that's a bad thing...but ask your Dr. on your next visit just to give yourself peace of mind :)

Good luck!

Many women do not feel them--- especially with a first pregnancy. And sometimes they are so light you just don't recognize them. Even non-pregnant wombs get them, but few people notice them.
Often women will notice a lot more of them in subsequent pregnancies.
Don't worry--- your body will undoubtedly function just fine!
Good luck on your delivery and new baby!

trust me it's a good thing your not getting them, but they will come, closer to when you give birth though, I only get them after I take my morning pee, I have to lay back down cause they are uncomfortable. I've also heard that sometimes, you don't even notice that you get them it's just your tummy tightens and lets go maybe once or twice a day. congrats on your baby and good luck.
