I had a baby shower for my friend and I had hotwings, fruit salad, pasta salad, finger sandwiches, deviled eggs, meat balls, chips and dip, and ice cream and cake. Remember you aren't feeding people to make them full, you are just giving them appetizers. Hope this helps you.

fruit and veggie trays, cheese tray, or cheese ball with crackers. mints and nuts to go on the cake table. Deli tray just lay out the condiments in little decorative bowls with a plastic knife to spread out condiments. Cocktail wieners in mustard and BBQ sauce are really good, kinda messy but yummy. All you do is mix equal levels of mustard and BBQ sauce in a crock pot and heat them for a couple hours. The guests can eat them with a fork and then they wouldn't be to messy. Hope my ideas helped good luck.

something cute is hanging a string, and hanging new onsies you buy for the new baby with little baby clothes pins that they have in the wedding/baby section and then maybe have everyone ride parenting tips on notecards, and then give everyone bingo cards and have them write what presents they think they will recieve bottles bibs diapers, and whoever gets the first bingo while the mom is opening the present gets a gift, buy a piggy bank and sit it on the entry table and let people put their change in it...there is a few ideas

like finger food? well 4 starters have it @ someone elses house!!!! lol, ur pregnant n cnt b expected 2 tidy up after a party. admittly mines in my house, but only cuz i live with my ex's parents ( long story). but i'd guess sausage roll, pretzles, crisps that kinda thng. i wuldn't say a meal really, but dats just my personal preferance. oh and make sure the mother can eat it!! no pate, un-pasturised cheeses, liver products, etc. and anything that shes allergic 2 don't put on the table, it'll just bug her (i'm allergic 2 nuts n they hav actually been banned from the house cuz i keep gettin cravings for them!)

You should definitely serve finger foods like little chickin wings and dip or any type of food you can dip. And for the games, my favorite game is the clothes pin game, where everyone has a clothes pin on them and no one can cross their legs, arms eyes nothing. so if someone catches you crossing something they get your pin and whoever has the most pins @ the end of the game wins!

My mother threw me a baby shower for my first pregnancy, and she served different kinds of keish. ( I think that's how it's spelled.) It was a brunch baby shower so the keishs were different breakfast types like bacon and egg and egg with ham. It was really good and was also an easy clean up when it was done.

I thought it was cute for everything to be baby (small) size. Little smokies in a blanket, bite-size cheese balls and grapes, finger sandwiches, and instead of a cake serve petit fours from your local bakery (cute and delicious). Everything is quick and easy to make. Have fun!

Carrot & celery sticks and cucumbers with ranch dipping sauce.
Sandwiches cut into fours. Chips, pop and a cake to top it off. (Ice cream if you want)
