Filipinos are Asians.
Pacific Islanders come from Polynesia, Melanesia and Micronesia.
The major island groups (over 90,000 people) of Polynesia are Samoa, Tonga, Hawaii, and French Polynesia.
For Melanesia the major islands are Fiji, Vanuatu, the Solomons and New Caledonia.
