i would like to ask peoples opinion on a situation that happened?

i have this landlord that i would want to face with this, he was in a coffee shop and a woman in front of him dropped 10 dollars, he picked it up and said to her finders keepers and put it in his pocket and walked out, she said to him i guess you need it more that i do before he left, i would like to say something to him about it but i would not know what to say, the woman is a single mother going to school and got a government loan to survive till she is out of school, what would you people say to him?

I would stay out of it. It turns the situation between the woman and him into an issue between her, him, and you, and there is no way he will let you or her win.

Instead, use this as a lesson not to trust him. He has displayed no shame by doing this in front of others, and what he would do if concealed behind closed doors could be even worse.

I'm right there with ya and I would definitely say something to him. Maybe approach it diplomatically, rather than with anger, and explain to him how hard the woman is working and how badly she needs each penny she has. Start by telling him you know he is a decent human being.....etc., etc., etc. Assume he does not realize what a jerk he looked like when he stuck the money in his pocket! Good Luck!

this landlord seems like a careless person. it's tough to be in your shoes. even though it's immortal of him to do something, the fact is he's your landlord and you still need to "pretend" to like him. world is not always a fair place and i've learn that plenty of times. i think the best way is if you feel sorry for that lady, you can help her out sometimes when she needs help. hope this helps.

Well, apparently he has no self-respect, no respect for others and he's broke (or acts as if)... Not a good combination.
I'd say if you tell him what you saw, he won't underestand and you'll get in trouble with him, however, you won't feel guilty because you'll know you did the right thing.
