So what is it your accused of? The best thing to do is have the accused cooperate and state that they are willing to do so. This may show that he or she is sorry for whatever they did and leniency may follow this. It seems to always work, if the accused is honest in his/her talk with authorities! God bless,, Earl

Come on man don't you watch TV? The DA or assistant DA will almost always offer a plea bargain to a lesser charge to avoid the time and money for a trial.

You can't, but their attorney can. If they can't afford one, one will be appointed. That's the attorney's job.
