Think about it this way if you cannot get a debit card or a credit card - then you cannot buy online. If there was this wonderful xbox on ebay for £220 (high street assume £329) and you paid the 2.5% transaction fee, your net cost would be £205.5 - a £5.5 fee is a small price to pay for this purchase which enables you to do something which you might not have been able to otherwise.

Also, i think getting a SplashPlastic card www.splashplastic.com is much better than the Quidity Card www.360money.com/quidity(the cards are provided by the same company) but the new SplashPlastic card has no transaction fees, Annual Renewal, Phone enquiries, etc are all free http://www.360money.com/splashplastic/he...

Hope this helps - Quidity is great, SplashPlastic is greater!!

Cashplus is exactly the same - it does not have any greater functionality and since it is MasterCard branded is more open to internet fraud (thats what phishers and fraudsters target - visa and mastercard) than the other maestro branded products. Also I cancelled my Cashplus account simply cuz the fees with CashPlus are definitely higher http://www.mycashplus.co.uk/uploads/imag...

Compare the fees across the three cards - and then look at how much you are likely to spend each week or month and then where you are likely to top up the card etc then make your choice (SplashPlastic will work out the cheapest easily - i know cuz i have 4 prepaid cards - cashplus, quidity, splashplastic premium(replaced with new splashplastic) and the magicfm card!!

Also, the SplashPlastic card has been around for 5-6 years and the company behind them also do the debenhams gift card and stuff - www.prepaytec.com

now if this aint the best answer ever..... :0)

Cheers

enjoy spending prepaid style!!
