I assume you are in Ordon Province at the very beginning of the game.

First, you need to get the cradle from the monkey. Jump on the spires that go over the lake until you find the weird looking grass. Blow on the grass to call the falcon, use the falcon to get the basket.

Give the basket to the pregnant woman near the stream and she will give you the fishing rod.

Go over to the pier where the cat is staring at the water and fish from there. You may have to catch a couple, but eventually, the cat will grab the fish and run back home.

This bit is really annoying, u need the fishing rod (gotten by using the hawk reed to knock the monkey on the rock with the baby's basket off the rock he is standing on. S/he's on a kinda island down the river in Orderon village) you cast the rod off beside where the cat is looking into the water, the float will bob and when it goes down that means a fish has bitten it. Quickly move the wii remote up above your head and you will be prompted with the excellent phrase "FISH ON!" hold the remote above your head until link gets the fish. Keep doing this till the cat runs off with a fish. Enjoy the best computer game ever.

WHAT I DID WAS AFTER I CAUGHT MY 1ST FISH I CAUGHT ANOTHER ONE BUT THIS TIME I DID NOT THROW THE FISH BACK INTO THE WATER I GAVE IT TO THE CAT.
