i dreamt that i was running away from this person (whom i don't know) and at one point i just gave up horror and went to him and said: "ok.. u wanna kill me? just do it!!" for my surprise, he didn't hesitate and he pulled the trigger!!!!!!
i didn't feel pain.. i just felt some wetness in my chest (but i didn't look so i didn't see the blood) and i felt that i was also bleeding through my nose.. i knew i was dying but in my dream i was wondering if i will also be dead in real life (apparently i knew it was just a dream) but i was really scared that i might be dead in real life too..
i said a few threatening words to the guy before i fell down dead.. !!!
and i don't recall waking up immediately after that!
i was wondering what this could mean..

Dreaming of being killed may represent your desire to end one life and start another. I don't mean suicidal thoughts, but the desire to change what you percieve as your life (e.g. a job, career path or relationship) to something else. The same thing in a dream can mean different things for different people.

You might be losing your mind, or is just that you are watching to much the daily news!!!
I would not worry more than usual. Dreams may be preventive or precognitions, but never a forecast of next week's attractions. You are constantly exposed to violence. Instead you should be exposed to VIOLINS!!!
