.....only for the person who asked the question to not even bother awarding a 'best answer'?

Lazy gits! No consideration for others.....

(And when it goes to 'a vote' half the time people will vote for their own answers - which in all honesty, I've been guilty of. Well, if I've killed x amount of braincells thinking of a smart, witty or even on a rare occassion, a factually correct answer, I'm gonna make sure damn sure I try to influence the voting!!)

I know! Like this question for example.....i spent alot of time thinking up different ways to agree with you. Maybe you could award that hard work? Lmao...
But for real, I hate it when they give best answer to the first answer they see, because their to f*cking lazy to actually find the best answer! Or when the question gets deleted after ya spent forever thinking and typing up a response.....

i feel awful now i am guilty as charged, i fully intended to vote a best answer for my last question but unfortunately at the time i had my head in a bucket being violently ill , i am not as you accuse a lazy git but should i find myself in that unfortunate position again i will drag myself off my sick bed and vote.

oh and by the way i really am sorry for not voting you best answer but don't hold a grudge its bad for your karma

No. I don't spend ages thinking of an answer. If I don't have an answer I move on to another question. I honestly just want to give people answers that will help them. It's not for my own self -agrandissment.

Yes, it makes me mad too. When I ask a question I always choose a best answer. Also, I have the courtest to at least give my answerers a thumbs up if they leave a decent answer. At least they get points for the thumbs up's.

i just wish yahoo would reduce the four hour time limit to thirty minutes cause sometimes i get to busy and by the time i can give out "best answer "it's already gone to vote so I'm sorry about that.

It's only annoying when some people just give points to friends rather than to the answer.

Indeed it does! It also annoys me that I think of a fantastic answer and the last person to answer before me has had the same idea! Grrrr.

I hate it when I spend time looking up an answer or typing my answer in detail and the question has been deleted!
