Hm, because you did not specify what your eye color and shape, I can't really help you with eyeshadow.
1.) When apply foundation it is important to blend it into your neckline, and pick color that matches your skin tone.
2.) When you apply eyeliner (whether it be liquid or dry) it is important to be sure to NOT apply it in the inside of the lower eye. This makes the eye appear smaller. For a more natural look, apply a thin line of liner, and for a more dramatic look, apply a thick line.
3.) Before you apply your mascara, it is important that your curl your upper lashes for about 30 seconds. (This will make your eyes pop!) And then apply 1-2 coats, but don't apply wet mascara to dry mascara, it will make it clumpy.
4.) If you have bags under your eye, concealer is a perfect solution. Simply apply to underneath your eye and your set!
That's all the advice I can give you for now. If you want detailed advice, specify what your eye color, shape of eye, and skin tone is. Good Luck.

I am a Mary Kay beauty consultant. i have learned a lot about makeup from other consultants. your best bet is to go to the website and get some tips from there. and if that is not good then you can contact a consultant and they will teach you how to apply makeup for free in a session. no charge.

one thing i've heard ALL the time was LESS IS MORE. and its true! if you have a foundation that has a spin off lid the you (once the lid is off) put your middle finger on top of the rim. you tip it upside down and should end up with an amount thats more than enough for starters. you put HALF of that amount thats on your finger on your forehead. wipe the rest off. then blend with BOTH middle fingers in an UP AND OUT movement. u start from the middle of your forehead, blend it up and out, up and out and down your nose. also make sure its blended into your eyebrows because if it isn't it will show. next put your middle finger on the rim again, tip, and use half the amount on your finger on one cheek, the other half on the other cheek. blend up and out all the way down into jaw. if u have dark circles dab a dot of foundation under each eye. blend. if you have ANY light hairs on your face blend the makeup in REALLY good in those areas. also before you go out hav someone check and make sure your blended and not cakey. for other blotches the makeup won't cover use concealer. good luck i hope i helped!

This one is tough. The first person that answered is correct that Mary Kay has charts, they have members of their staff (salespersons) that can visit your home and help you learn to apply your makeup. But they do expect you to buy some of their makeup, and you just might want to invest in some good makeup if you are truly looking to "look" nice. Good luck to you.

mary kay. They have charts and people to teach you to put it on. The makeup itself is too pricey, but the knowledge is great. I had a mary kay party when I was 14. Taught me everything I needed to know for life! Even how to properly pluck my eyebrows!
