Wow that is something to ponder isn't it.
I think either he is a momma's boy and still feels like mom's is the only home he'll ever know, or he for some reason just doesn't feel comfortable since the move maybe. I think you need to bring it up to him in conversation, lead him down the path and then point blank ask him if he feels at home there. I know that something like that would bother me too and I know that I would ask my guy as soon as I could. I would not want my friend to be involved so I would make sure I brought it up while chatting about us and our happiness. It reminds me of a question my brother in-law asked me what does your sister want out of life I said I think you should ask her that not me. I hope you get the answer your looking for.

I wouldn't worry to much about that. Some people are really attached to their childhood home. He is married to you living in your own home...so unless there are other issues going on then dont worry.

Hope this helps

This means he has not severed the tie he has with his parents. You both need to read the verse in Genesis which states that the man will LEAVE his mother and father for his wife.

Sounds like he's homesick. Nothing unusual about that. Start making your home more husband-friendly and see what happens.

It means he still thinks of his parents house as his "home". He has not let go of his parents.

It sounds like he's leading a double life, or he's really stupid and doesn't even know the real meanings of his quotes.

I guess his heart is in NC? Perhaps you need to ask him what he meant. Obviously he's the only one who has that answer.
Anyone else would simply be guessing.

Why don't you ask your husband what he meant?
