i see they put water coolers in front of the grills of their vans as well
Honestly though they put those on farm labor vans so the workers that they are giving a ride to recognize where the van is and dont leave with the wrong people

Im Mexican and I dont do it but the people I do know who do it do it for pride. Its the same as the huge Ford or Chevy sticker. Where Im from its not necesarily their last name its more their place of origin. A lot of them have their Mexican State on their vehicle.

Funny...I'm Mexican and don't have it...However, my friend is white and has it in Old English across his back window right above his Confederate Flag. Seems unfair to single out an entire race, since I have also seen Punjabis, Blacks, and Asians have the same thing. Maybe your question should be...Why do PEOPLE put their names in huge stickers on their vehicles? Which I would respond: They are IDIOTS.

I'm not too sure why they do that either. I'm sorry, but I personally could care less if that's Jorge Gonzalez A.K.A. "Speedy" going by in his El Camino with all 83 members of his family miraculously fitting inside comfortably.

I don't know, but I see one that says Durango for the last name all the time in So Cal and they are driving a Chevy truck...hahaha!
