I have the Sims 1 (my Sims 2 won't work because my computer's graphic card is too old), and everytime I go to change my sims' clothes, the game shuts off. I recently downloaded some new skins, but when the game started acting up, i deleted them, but it's STILL doing it! What can I do?

ok well first of all sims gives everyone problems.and im a sim addict so maybe I can help.you might have to uninstall the game and reinstall it. that usually works.if that doesn't work i suggest buying a new graphic card or a whole new memory card.most of the time its the memory card that's too full.i hope this advice helps you.

I know this probably dosnt help very much, but it just sounds like you'r computers too old! My computer used to do the exact same for the Sims 2 and i got a newer one, and its fine now.

usually when this happeneds an error message comes up and says that a package was not correctly installed. copy down the letters of the package (which usually looks like A4S5C15AD654FADFG5D4) and search for the package. delete it from the computer. which will uninstall it from the game. the same thing happened to me. and i called them and this is what they told me to do. after i did it it worked from that point. so try it.

Sounds to me like you need to install a new graphic card! Otherwise you wont be able to use the game to its fullest. You can do that without getting a new computer. Best Buy perhaps..?
