Does it mean Audio/Video? We have a survillance system and it says it can use an A/V monitor or an VGA monitor.
What is the difference? Can you use a regular TV?

a/v means audio/video. you can use regular TV in most cases.

a/v means audio/visual. most televisions have an a/v channel on them
