Exercise all muscle groups equally. Do not follow the other women who are on the elipticals all day, that will only make your butt bigger. Definitely hit the weights and specifically hit the upper body. The more muscle you have, the faster you will burn calories, even when you sleep. Your leg muscles are the biggest. Tone them only. Your upper body muscles are the smallest, so target them for weight training and growth of mass. It won't stand out at all in a bathing suit, but your legs getting bigger will. Eat properly with emphasis on enough protein for muscle growth and low fat and you should see a difference for bikini time :-) I wouldn't lie to you because I like bikini time :-)

Just swim! Swimming is the best sport you can do. It works out every single muscle in your body, and it's fun too! Besides it only makes scence to swim for a Bathing suit!

I mean this in the most respectful manner, but if your married or have a serious person in your life , then nothing burns fat cells faster than sex and you and your partner can enjoy exercising together, if i have been out of line please forgive me im just stating facts.
if your looking for other ways then start out slowly working each muscle group , always stretch first (very important) start your workout slowly til you get a good sweat going then gradually increase it til you start to feel the burn and then come down from your excersize session as slowly as you started it, drink plenty of water, no sports drink WATER, anyhow hope this helps

ANY exercise will help, and remember that you can't spot-reduce body fat -- your body put it on in its own way and it'll take it off in its own way. Walk as much as you want as often as you want, but don't do aerobics for more than 40 minutes at a time or else you risk burning muscle. Circuit training with light weights will help you burn fat and tone up, Yoga/Pilates/Martial Arts is always good, and doing ab exercises won't get the flab off but it'll pull your gut in and make it appear smaller. Good luck!

Pilates is one of the best ways to tone up and slim down. You can probably check out a video of it from your local library, or join a class for it at a gym or Y.
While i am a firm believer that pilates great for losing weight, getting lots of cardio will expidate your loss.

While summer is still away, try to eat healthy food and you will loose weight even without exercise. Try to eat oatmeal every breakfast, it is very healthy and away from cholesterol or belly fat, vegetables or vegetables salad for lunch and dinner and no fatty meats, white breast chicken and lots of water everyday or at least 8 full of glasses, and fresh fruit juices home-made.....No pop or colas, no juices.....Walking is very healthy for you too or biking to the park. Good luck, sweetie!

Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Walk instead of ride, when you can. Watch your food intake. I eat a full meal when I am active, and eat lite when I am not acitve. This has helped me lose weight.

Get an exercise ball and work your core muscles. It works really well if you add weights after you get used to the workout.
