I have recently upgraded my graphics card and I'm trying to connect my PC to TV with S-video, but pictures comes out in black and white. My previous graphics had the yellow socket video output and that worked fine.

Why is it like that?
What can I do to get this right?

The yellow socket was "Composite Video" all signals combined into one feed. whereas S-Video outputs separate Luminance (Y) and Chrominance (C) signals - You MAY just find that the input on your TV is not set to s-video (or y/c video on some TVs)

you need to have a TV that can handle the s-video output. On my TV I have to press the AV button on my remote control till it goes to s-vhs instead of AV1 or AV2. On the usual AV it is a nasty blurred black and white picture
