Your body goes through lots of changes as soon as you become pregnant. I can sympathize because I also have miscarried. But I think having sex right away, may not have given your body a chance to naturally heal. I dont know alot about HGC levels, but I know trying again too soon may be just that. Maybe you and your partner should take some of your "recovery" time to discuss how you feel about this loss, and also learn more about pregnancy (the facts and answers to your questions). Best of luck to you and your future family.

First, please don't feel that you did ANYTHING that could have caused you to loose your baby. Having sex did NOT cause this miscarriage. Most doctors tell their patients to wait 1-3 cycles before trying to conceive again. You want to make sure your hcg level comes back to zero before you try to conceive again, because if it stays elevated this could mean that you have retained tissue from the miscarriage. Retained tissue can cause infection, irregular cycles, no cycle, and even cause for a D&C. If you are concerned that your hcg level is not returning to zero, you can ask your doctor to check it again. There is also a support group for mothers who have lost babies and are trying to conceive. It is SPALS (subsequent pregnancy after loss support) the address is: spals@lists.cirr.com God bless you in your journey of healing after your loss!!!

My doctor told me to wait 2 cycles before trying again (I miscarried at 10 1/2 weeks in 2004). I have heard other people say thier doctor said 3 cycles. If you wait 2 -3 cycles you will probably be fine.

yes you will hit 5.0 and no it's not too soon to try again and you never know if and when you get pregnant you carry to full term it all depends on your body if your body wants to get rid it then it will it's nothing you can do to prevent it from happening so I say go ahead and try again if you really want to have a baby but I think you should find out when your next ovualation is.

first of all, im sorry u lost ur baby. i know what its like to want a child and when it dont work out after finding out u actually are preg.... its hard im sure. it would be a good idea to wait a lil bit to let ur body get back to normal but im sure if u are preg now or find out soon that u are, it wont hurt to bad. i mean people have babies and then get preg right away not leting their body get back to normal and they have healthy pregnancys and babies. good luck to u and God Bless

It is very possible for you to get pregnant again right away and deliver a full term healthy baby.....but you should also give your body a couple of months to heal before starting again. I had two miscarriages and was pregnant 3 months later and delivered both of them at full term.

you have to wait unitil your HCG get to 5 = to 0
if you should get preg now you might have a 2nd misc
usually it is recommended to wait at least for 3mth after a misc
but some woman do get pregnant before and carried their baby throw full term
Goodluck

didn't your doctor tell you to wait a certain amount of time?
usually after miscarriage your chances of infection are high if you have sex or use tampons--basically if anything goes in there it can carry bacteria with it.
i'm pretty sure you're supposed to wait a few weeks at least.
