I have a toy Conair B-36 metal airplane(about twenty inches long) which is over fifty years old. When you push it the wheels and props turn. It has been in my family since new. I could put it on E-bay but have no idea what it is worth.

ebay answer above me is 'right on'...

type in your item in the ebay search box and see what other people are asking for.
...and if you have an ebay account, check-off on the 'completed items' (on the left) and see how much it has sold for in the past month...

you may also want to go check out your local bookstore and see if they carry any antique toy magazines or price guides...

try looking under an search engine by typing antique metal airplanes. i know that metal planes go good out there in the world today. the search engine will give several websites that you can search the value for your airplane.

The best way to see what it's currently selling for is to check ebays completed listings.
