is behind the left hand panel on the left side directly under the seat. the cover pulls off, and there she be.

I have a small bike about the size of a sporster. My battery is on the bottom of the bike. There is a small door w/ 2 bolts in it (one on each side of the bike). You can check there.....

Look behind the side panels below the seat. If you're going to ride it, you really need to know how it works. Unless you got it just for looks.
