so i havent seen supernatural for a long time because of work so know that im going to be getting of earlier i have more time but just one quick question, what was the big secret that john (sam and deans dad) told dean about sam i missed that episode? please tell

HE TOLD HIM THAT HE MAY HAVE TO KILL SAM ONE DAY. IT'S PART OF THE WHOLE DEMON KILLING THEIR MOM STORY LINE. APPARENTLY IT'S GATHERING UP THE NOW ADULT CHILDREN OF THESE MURDERED MOMS TO TURN THEM INTO IT'S LITTLE KILLING ARMY. I'M HOPING THEIR DAD WILL COME BACK. I LIKED HIM ON THE SHOW.

Dean told Sam that John had said for him to look after Sam and if he has to, to kill Sam. John basically wants Dean to save Sam (so it doesn't come to killing).

here's the quote:
Dean: (Dad) said that he wanted me to watch out for you, take care of you.
Sam: He told you that a million times.
Dean: This time was different. He said that I had to save you.

The secret was pretty much already guessed by serious SN fans. John had told Dean that he's gonna have to "Save Sam" and that if he can't then might have to kill him. That's the big secret. The episode was Hunted and you can watch it here:
