Zach Thomas of the Miami Dolphins. The stats tell the story. He is the best MLB in the NFL.

2006
1 Zach Thomas MIA 165 total tackles 103.0 solo 62 assisted

2005
2 Zach Thomas MIA 158 total tackles 104.0 solo 54 assisted

2004
4 Zach Thomas MIA 145 total taclkes 85.0 solo 60 assisted
* injured two games but only off by 9 tackes from the number 1

2003
3 Zach Thomas MIA 152 total tackles 84.0 solo 68 assisted
missed two games due to injury

He keeps getting better with age and has been in the top 5 tacklers for the past 5 years. If you ever watch a game you will see that he is always at the ball carrier when the play is dead. Not only that he has tom brady's number, seeing as the pats have the most trouble with miami. This season he played with the season defensive MVP and was still able to post the most amount of tackles! If this guy is not one of the best players in the NFL i dont know who is!

Reggie Bush...mostly because of his awesome showboating he did vs the Bears. just kidding..but that answer was as dumb as all of the previous that state they like players because they "dont showboat so they are classy" Just because someone celebrates a TD or victory that dosent mean they are scum or have no class. This kind of talk is mostly brought up by losers(see LT after the Pats game....Im a huge LT fan & I HATE the Pats but stop crying dude..you lost!) If you dont like celebrating or excitement then keep the guy outta the end zone or make sure you win the game idiot. For the fans who dont like it shut up or turn off the TV..its a game dude. Individuals who celebrate like Steve Smith & T.O. are labeled "classless" even though they have done more charity work and donated tons more money and time than the people who have labled them as such. Also, you dont hear about Steve Smith getting DWIs like "classy" Tom Brady!!

Marvin Harrison- A classy quiet guy in what has become the loudest position on the field. It is nice that the best player at his position doesn't run his mouth about how great he is. TO could learn a lot from this guy...also Meshawn the reason he catchs all of those short passes is because he is going to Canton and you are not.

Bret Favre best QB in the game after that Tom Brady comes to mind. Peyton doesnt make my list. For all you Peyton lovers look at the supporting staff. Put Peyton on a Packer team he is a below average QB at best. What happens to Peyton when he has a bad game he cries points fingers at everyone else. He is a big baby just like his brother. We will see what free agency brings this year to Peyton?? TBC... Watch for the Pack to spend some cash this year to make/give Bret a chance. Hmm Randy Moss?? Interesting very interesting. Pack is on the move look out Bret Favre going out kickin some Bear *** last game of the season up in GreenBay.

I'm loving Marques Colston, WR for the Saints right now. His listing as TE/WR helped me score a ton of fantasy points with him this past year, and then his humbleness when he scored in the NFC championship game really showed his class and character. As the fourth-to-last player drafted, he has shown as much talent and much more class than his highly vaunted 1st round draft choice rookie teammate.

Currently I'd say Warrick Dunn. I'm a huge FSU fan but more importantly I like to see humble, good-guys in the league. With all th pre-Madonna's and show-boat's in the league now-a-days it's nice to see a guy like Dunn doing the kind of things he does.
All-Time- Jerry Rice. Greatest FOOTBALL player of all time.

Champ Bailey - This year alone he covered the top 8 recievers and did not let in a single touchdown from them. He is a shutdown corner and everyone is afraid of him. He is also one of the best people in the game and no one has anything bad to say about him.
