There is one spot of my house that accesses an unencrypted wifi provider, and it is directly in front of the TV...I wanted to know if I could use a repeater to spread the signal to the rest of my house... if so, how do I do it?

Buy a repeater, place it within in the range of the signal and it will broadcast just like a normal router. You will have some lag though.

Yes you would need a wireless bridge.
