I've only heard the song once, but I'm not sure it is Grammy worthy, what do you think?

I have never heard the song to the radio, but I saw the video on VH1 once, I personally thought the song was not good. I think they are getting nominated more for their political views than their music. What do you think... not on their political views, but on their music.

It is a great song. Much better than most of the crap out right now. I admire them for being so honest. I can't stand Bush. That's one of the great things about living in the United States, you are allowed to express you feelings. It is insane that people got so offended that death threats were made to the Chicks.

I don't think it's Grammy worthy either, I like the music, i like some of the lyrics but I felt as though most of the song was written in a rush and lacks some feeling. Most of the words don't really go together. It's like a storyline with missing pieces.

I'm sure not everyone is 100% behind any Grammy, Emmy, Tony, Oscar, etc. nomination. I personally like their music, and their willingness to speak out against the war. That takes brass for country music stars, but more and more of them are doing it. The Dixie Chicks may still have their detractors, but I'll wager their approval ratings outdo the Sitcom President's!

That said, it's a great song. Grammy-worthy? That's up to the judges. I stopped watching awards shows about 6-7 years ago.

I haven't heard it at all ... but a lot of things that aren't grammy or oscar worthy get them ... sometimes as a nod to the person rather than for their actual work. But I do know that lots of people like the song.

i do like the song, but then again i am and always will be a dixie chicks fan. not only did they say what almost everyone else was thinking, but they took the fall for it to. i think that this song is good because its them defending themselves when their so called "fans" wouldnt. and i also think that if justin timberlake can sing like a woman and be nominated for a grammy than the chicks also deserve this chance to recaim themselves

I've heard it once or twice myself, I don't believe it's a great song or worthy of a Grammy. I think maybe some people think it deserves one due to the controversy they had with the Prez. Personally, I don't care for them.

I like the song but I agree as it being not Grammy worthy. Its just because of all the controversy surrounding the song

Hard to be objective. I just got to the point where I thought I might listen to their music again and they slap you in the face with this. No, I don't think it is grammy material, but there again, its hard to be objective. They ask fans to get passed it, but doesn't seem like they are taking their own advice.

I think it is a political statement, not because it is a good song. Others are more worthy.
