How do you re-hydrate playdoh without getting it all greasy?

I tried water, but that makes it all slimy.

put a little water in the container with it and put it in the microwave for a short time.

Not a direct answer, but Alex-Panline makes a playdoh type dough that doesn't dry out as easily as regular Playdoh.

I've heard add a little water and microwave, but if it's too far gone, go buy some new, it's not that expensive.
