That is possibly the most intelegent thing that I have ever heard on here. I grew up in the lone star state and it sucks. There are about two or three very small places there that are ok. But nothing too great. The only good thing about Texas is that you can look it and know that where ever you call home is a few steps up compared to that place.

Houston is great! Lots of fun! Great, great food, and great shopping! San Antonio is very beautiful! Dallas, Ft. Worth, Austin, that's another story. I hate Dallas and Ft. Worth is old and dirty. Austin is okay, but there is really nothing to do there. Houston is definitely the place to go if you ever visit Texas. There is a lot to do and Galveston beach is not too far away either.

That is so ruthless... and true, I can't believe you went there!
I stayed at a Radisson Hotel in Ft. Worth and it was so disguisting what I found in my room, they gave me a free night's stay for the next visit. Guess it's hard to find good help there.

The biggest thing in Texas is the people's egos.
I spent some time there once and would never go back.
(they also have these freakish gross huge flying bugs)
Stay in your car and drive on through!

I lived in Texas for almost two years, and I miss it...beautiful sunsets, beaches, great shopping, beautiful scenery.
