Luther Ingram did the original version in 1972, but there were many remakes.

It looks like many singers have performed this song. I found this on the internet:

"(If Loving You Is Wrong) I Don't Want to Be Right" is a soul song written by Homer Banks, Carl Hampton and Raymond Jackson. It has been performed by many singers, most notably Luther Ingram, whose version topped the R&B chart and rose to #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1972.
