I think it is the scent of curry spice in the air!
And the Londoners!

What do you love about London?

I adore London, the museums, art galleries, parks.

The walk alongside the embankment. The River Thames snaking right through the city. The way the light catches on the water. Kings Road and Sloane square.

The mixture of people from all over the world buzzing about laughing and happy.
The theatres. The way London is lit up at night.
The excitement of dressing up for an evening at a night club .

All these things and more...

EVERYTHING!!!

I'm a Londoner but i moved up north 2-3 years ago. no offence to northerners but its not home!! i miss London loads!! from little things like the car fumes (lol i love it!!) to the tubes and late night shopping!!

i now live in a town and its defiantly not the place for a girl!! these barely any shops. u have to travel like 20 miles just to do some shopping.
London give u FREEDOM and OPPORTUNITIES to do what u want when u want!!

its sooo boring up here. i used to be really socailble. me and my friends used to do everything together but up here theres nothing to do, no clubs, sport centres, no nothing!! all the shops are closed by 5.30!!

i also miss the range of different cultures!! the London markets and even hearing the London accent from somebodies elses lips other then the TV!!

i love how London is also busy and theres always people round you, where ever you go. i think the only thing i don't miss is the pigeons!!! there horrible!!

The glamour, the buildings, the history, and the scent of money in the air! You don't see fashions or cars or big beautiful buildings in the sticks like the ones you see in the capital.

I love the fact that the very best of everything is there - best museums, art galleries, (and they're free!) palaces, churches, shops, food, hotels, parks etc. I love the river on a sunny morning; the journey from Westminster to the Tower of London is wonderful by boat. And I love hearing the Cockney accent - makes me feel right at home.

The fact that you can live in a multicultural community which makes you feel proud to be a Londoner. And there's so much things it has to offer from history, to culture, to nights out and great food and shopping. It's one of the most enticing cities in the world!

Maybe it's because you're a Londoner. ;)
Seriously there's a lot to love, great shops, restaurants and attractions, big parks to go walking in, great city skyline views, convenient public transport systems and a big tidal river through the middle.

Because of the history, it was the centre of Victorian England, when England was at its height.

Also I like the accent for some reason

I have to agree with the previous answer (mighty mi) as my partner is one. Add untrustworthy to the list and a few more and you're half way there.
