My Uncle Pete found a 'Magic Picture' in his cupboard and I've got it now. It's a drawing with all coloured squggles and you have to stare at it for hours and a picture will appear. Except nothing happens.

You have to stare at it, and then kind of blurr your eyes to the center (towards your nose) just a little bit. Then the 3d image pops out from the paper.

Try sitting it on something at eye level and stand back and look at it. I first saw these at a fair. They had me stand back a bit and look at it. The taller people stood back further. All of a sudden I just saw the picture. It took my tall friend a lot longer to see it and some folks never saw it at all.

Focus your eyes on the pic and slowly move it (or yourself) away from the pic but still focusing on it. The lines should become obscured and start to meld to form the picture.

Um yeah, it's in our sunday comix section every week....
put your nose up to the picture, touching it. Without blinking or moving your gaze, slowly move the picture away from your eyes. It should come into focus about 5" away or so.

hold the picture up infront of you with your back to a light, when there is a reflection of the light in the centre of the pic look at the reflection not at the picture... enjoy

look at the middle of the picture some are harder that other to see

You have to sort of look through it and unfocus your eyes. Place it on the window sill and look at it as if you were looking through the window.

Some people can do this starring thing and some can't. I'm one of the people who can't ... like you obviously!
