I have a whole bunch of classic (8 bit) Nintendo Entertainment System Games, accessories, etc. from my teen years. (aka the 1980's and early 90's)

The majority of what I have DOES include the ORIGINAL BOXES, SLEEVES, AND MANUALS! I think that makes it more collectible and rare, doesn't it?

What I want to know is: How much of a difference would this (having all boxes and manuals) make on an auction site? Would this get me a bigger profit?

I would say it does since overall quality and care of the product brings a bigger price. I suggest you research and find out what comparable games go for and start from there. The only problem is you will need to find someone interested in that specific memorabilia, but there is always someone out there who wants it.

Possibly. You may want to set a reserve on the item if you're expecting to get a certain amount for it. Unless you had a lot of the games and accessories, I am not too sure many normal people would buy it. You might get lucky and find a collector though, who might pay for that extra bit of stuff. Just set a reserve price, and that way you won't have to sell unless you make an amount you feel comfortable with.

Well........yes. Old gaming tech is becoming much more collectible these days and boxed games with instructions are going to be worth more. I'm in scotland and my local shop is selling an Atari2100(remember those) unboxed for £40. I would hold onto them because they can only get more valuable:)

Well having the boxes would appeal more to people since you'd think they'd be in better condition with them. Also with the manual if someone didn't know how to play you read it and boom you're playing so yeah it would make a diffirence. Think about it, if you were buying merchandise from someone and they didn't have the orignial package it came in would you want it?

Maybe a slightly bigger profit. But for folks that are collecting old games as COLLECTORS (not as players), I would say UNOPENED games would fetch you the best price.
