reading one of the papers today they said that on average females have slept with 14.5 partners and males slightly higher if this was the case would you tell your current partner about your sex life before them?

also do you think that figure is a realistic figure in this day and age or is it less or more?

Hell no, for the average person it is way higher than that statistic!
I would never lie but would tell them that all that matters is what we have here and now, everything else is in the past and not worthy of a mention!

This is why I am glad to be a virgin, that way, the man I marry will start on a clean slate and never have to wonder if I have ever had different sex partners.

Must be very unnerving sleeping with .5 of a partner.

No - it's not a good idea to discuss sex with previous partners. When I was single, if a man asked me how many men I had slept with it was ................yawn - what has it got to do with you.

u find that people who ask then tend to think about it . (if u slept with more than her she think ur a player and if she slpet with more than u u might start thinking she was a bit lose. sometimes it better not knowing.

You'll find that there a lot of questions that shouldn't be answered

if u wanted to be completely honest then y not throw in previous convictions too, but seriously if its because u slept with a hoar then tell her she should know if u might have AIDS.

when I first started dating my fiance we talked about out sexual past- vaguely, but agreed to not share 'numbers' - after all, it's all in the past, and before we met, so no need to dwell on what you can't change.

This is something that I would never bring up myself, but if they asked honestly I would tell them.
