i watched it last night and cannot believe that i used to love that comedy.its stupid!but isnt it funny that when you are a kid most of us watched it and thought it was great.can you think of any other shows of years ago that you watched and loved but not now???

I know I'm going to get howls of protest for this, but the original Star Trek! I thought it was great when I was about 8 or 9 (but then I was in love with Chekov and Spock, alternately) but now I just find it cringe-making...esp. the episode where McCoy and Kirk find an old US flag on some planet and do the whole colour-bearer salute thing.
Also the Batman series.
I had the sense to hate "Gilligan's Island" even at age 7...

Man about the house, The Upper Hand, MASH, Lovejoy, Minder,Brush Strokes and Only Fools and Horses.
I love Married with Children though, I never saw it when I was younger and I think it's great now.

What about "Small Wonder" the show about that robot girl Vicki, it came on in the late 80's. When I think about it now I can't believe I used to watch it, it was awful.

A team, Love Boat, and I am in the UK! Yes you think its great but not any more. On the other hand I hated Monty Python and was scared but I like it now I am all grown up.Oh Mork and Mindy what rubbish!

I still think its funny. there was never a serious, dramatic episode where someone died or something, or someone was on drugs. i think it was just a sort of trashy, comedy that was meant for people who don't need a whole bunch of tears and drama to enjoy tv. i still love that show!

I used to watch this aswell, now I think its tame. I also used to love Red Dwarf, now I dont understand it!
