You get uninterested in sex and don't want to do it with your husband more than maybe once a week, and even then he has to fight to get it from you.
Then, you start liking it more and start doing it more. You relax, open up, and it just keeps going and going....
My wife and I are on the upswing of this: sex did not come easy. Then we'd go like mad for weeks. We probably had sex 6 times from Thansksgiving until Jan 30. Then we've had sex 13 times in the last 5 days. She wants it, I want it....
Obviously we can't keep 2-4 times a day up....but I just don't want it to plummet back to once in a blue moon.
Does this happen to you ladies?
Oh and yes we aren't talking about 10 minute quickies. She is "getting hers" quite well, thanks.

Yes and we're in the "upswing" right now just as you described. It is like a hormonal roller coaster. Enjoy the thrilling parts of the ride. To keep it more thrilling, demonstrate your love in other ways too.

Yeah, I was like that.......WAY BEFORE I GOT MARRIED......now, I hate it. I could go the rest of my freakin life without sex. Love my husband, hate sex. Love to shop, hate sex. Love to eat and sleep, hate sex. Love to snuggle and cuddle and think about being romantic with strangers, but do not like sex (with anyone, male, female, married, or not). I just can't get in the mood any more even with alcohol. I think maybe if a really handsome stranger flirted really intently with me I could, but I'm not sure.

WHY are you concentrating so much on 'how much sex I am getting' and not on 'how your wife is feeling' when she 'doesn't want sex and you must 'fight her' for it ... because that's where my 'answer is' ... I'm guessing that your wife is 'happier with you' when you have 'so much sex' and is 'unhappy' with you in some way when you have to 'fight her' for it ... and I'm sorry, but you should NEVER have to 'fight' to get a woman to have sex with you ... I'd 'leave' (and divorce) any man who thinks that 'having lots of sex' is the meaning of 'having a good marriage.'

We go thru the same thing. but its my husband that doesn't want it. But sometimes he goes days without it , others he can't wait to get it again. I just enjoy it when it happens, nothing you can do to keep it, but enjoy it while its there. Its her hormones. Is she pregnant? Alot of time before when know their pregnant their chemicals change and that can change her sex drive.

Yeah, it's kind of like sexual mood swings. You get busy with the kids and the house and by the time you go to bed you just want to go to sleep. But then there are times that you have that extra energy!

Yup, I've gone through that, usuaslly it's due to stress, too much focus and stress on other areas in a women's life can have an effect on our sex drive. It dosnt have anything to do with the guy.

This is a typical thing in a marriage. Unfortunately, you will eventually slow down again. Its ok, though, as things will pick back up as they just have.

Nope, doesn't happen... It's a steady 1x/month, and my husband doesn't fight me for it, most of the time he doesn't even remember it's something we should be doing at least sometimes.
