It's not supposed to snow overnight tonight, so it's unlikely that school will be closed, but it could be if there's still enough on the ground that the teachers can't drive to school.
It's supposed to snow overnight on Friday so don't worry, you won't have to go to school on Saturday ;-)

no - do not forsake your education for the chance to play in the snow. Education is more important so that you may get a highly paid job in the future that will in turn enable you to afford expensive skiing holidays where the snow will be plentiful and much nicer than the snow we get here. Please take my advise unless your a teacher in the aforementioned school in which case ignore what I have written

Well, in Birmingham - they've said that ALL schools are closed, because the tempretures will be so cold tonight, the roads will be frozen and slippery. So, they reckon it's just too dangerous for kids.
Woo!

The north east to Lincolnshire is consistent with probability to get the worst with the midlands getting some, no longer likely to be very lots in London and London is south east, what do they prepare in colleges these days!
