After being jilted the best thing to do is to do nothing but take stock of yourself. Evaluate your feelings along the way that led to your being jilted. See if you can determine what went wrong or how you may have missed something. Talk to others like your friends and see if they can give you any insight on what happened. Once you begin to think about things resolve in your mind that you will be much more careful the next time and remember to get to know someone well before you commit yourself in any way at all.

Been there. It is hard. Right now is not the time to turn to another guy/ gal and start another relationship right away. Reflect inward. Take on a project or hobbie and really dig into it. That is a diversion tactic. It helps for a while. You will have to deal with the emotions. Shoot, go have a good cry. Chemically it helps the healing process. Give it a few weeks. Then, when you find someone interesting. Start again. If you have a best friend, time for a sleepover and fun. That helps too. Good luck. Hope that helps.

Spend a couple days eating bon bons and listening to love songs, cry a bit, watch romantic movies. Basically, purge the hurt. Then, get angry thinking about what an *** the guy was to do or think whatever it was that most annoyed you. After you have mourned a bit and been pissed a bit you just inhale...exhale ...and start moving on. Go out with friends, keep occupied any way you can. Once you have gotten over the hurt and the neediness, you can start looking for a new person to date.

At first get drank. The next day you'll feel awful but at least this will remove the sad thoughts. Afterwords, watch movies and listen to the relaxing music, etc. The point is not to stay alone with your own thoughts. And move on! The life is beautiful!

Realize that you were showing your Love from your Head or your Crotch. That's not where Love is suppose to be from If you'd taken My Course on Love 101? You'd found out that you need to listen to Your Heart. You know, that thumpin' sound, in your Chest. The part that Love is suppose to come from. And the part that you ignored. `Cause you thought too much of his looks, to see that your Heart didn't want it to happen, in the first place. The Old Ticker won't lie. It won't hurt you. And it wants you happy. Try it my way. Yours ended up on the losing end.

Pick a fight with someone smaller, kick a small dog, verbally abuse a cashier (or other service industry person). Or, thank the lucky stars above that the LOSER is gone. Life is a candy store! Mmmmmmmm candy!

just know that where u are in this particular time in your life is just where your suppose to be, know that this happened for a reason, unknown to u. just move on with as much dignity as u can save, don't let this steal your future, don't blame yourself, accept the changes life gives u, and don't ask why just trust there is some other plan for your life.

I ditched my high school girlfriend over the phone like a coward. She didn't seem to care. We were pretty much done, anyways.
Just take your lumps and move on.
