I don't know how you can say anyone but USC. They never have a tough schedule, their division is horrible in football, and the other teams that have the talent to do so, and the great recruiting teams, like Florida, barely have any easy game on their schedule playing SEC teams. Florida won the championship last year, but they were NOT undefeated. Any given week Vanderbilt can beat you if you look past them and they show up that weak, and that's the bottom of the barrel in the SEC. A big ten team may be able to swing it since they don't play a conference championship game (wimps), but the only team I see as a shoe in is USC.

I'm going with USC. Them and Florida will be the most talented teams in the nation. The SEC will again prove why it is perenially considered one of, if not the, toughest conference in the country as NO ONE goes undefeated throughout the conference season. USC will be by far the best team in the Pac-10 and their team only got better with the #1 recruiting class in the nation. Returning many of the key players this year will help this team overcome the tough road games they must play. The only team that could really beat USC is themselves.

I want to say USC, but I cant. I think they will face more Top 25 teams than Michigan will this year. So I think I'll go Michigan as being the best chance. Now in 2008..USC will go undefeated I think. I'm not even a big fan of there just think that

USC because they figure to have an even better defense. The entire defense is coming back with new depth thanks to a recruiting bonaza. Everson Griffin may start at DE as a true freshmen, he is 260 and runs a 4.5 40, he played RB and DE in high school. Remember alot of USC's defense last season was young so now they will be more mature.
The only real concern is WR losing Jarrett and Smith. Turner should be a good option though, he played well last season. Also a ton of young guys waiting for their turn at WR.
I also like Michigan. I know they faultered at the end of last season but they have some good players back and who in the big 10 is going to stop them?

You people who think Bama will be good this year must be drunk besides its too hard for any team from the SEC in go undefeated in the conference play.
Teams from smaller conferences have a better shot, like Boise State, USC, and the Big East Teams
However I think the above teams will lose their bowl games

I would have to say Florida, Texas, or USC. USC just signed the #1 player in the nation, Florida had the number 1 overall recruiting class, and Texas has Colt McCoy who will im prove the numder three recruiting class and they did very good last year for a team that was supposed to not even be in the top 25 all year

someone said Alabama!! hahaha, they had one of the worst offenses in the country last year. They will be vastly improved, but with how powerful the SEC is going to be next season, whoa......Auburn, LSU, Tennessee, and Florida will all be better than Bama, and possibly even South Carolina, Georgia, and Arkansas. sorry, but not Bama, and probably not anyone in the SEC.......too tough
USC is gonna be tough and they don't play a great schedule so I would say they have the best chance along with Louisville...Michigan will be tough as well, but they are in a slump against OSU, and Ohio State will be better than everyone is planning on
im assuming we are talking major conferences here and teams like Boise State shouldn't be considered

USC...schedule is weak in 07...improved team + easier schedule=undefeated!!
but, that doesnt mean USC wont fare well against an SEC or BIG 12 team in the Nat. Champ. (ie most likely FL or TX)

It is definately USC. They will go undefeated and will beat the best from the SEC, BIG12 or BIG10 in the championship game. Remember I said it here first.
