Check your internet settings... under "Advanced" or "Content" there should be an option to enable/disable images.

Go to internet properties, and then on click on "ADVANCED'" tab then check either you have marked or not on"Show picture", "Show Graphics".........

are you looking at them at work/school? some work IT depts. will put blocks on newly loaded pictures so people aren't "surfing" while at work/school.
