it sounds like a self-conscious (Psychological) thing. Some males experience anxiety after a Vasectomy. They feel like "less of a man" because they can no longer reproduce.

This is all Psych 101 though. The only true answer can be obtained by a quick appointment to the urologist, who might recommend you to a psychologist.

A lot of men in their 40's have ed. erectile dysfunction. Use only half or a quarter of the Viagra 100mg and try a little more till you hit the right dose. i get a headache when i take a 100mg so i usually can perform very well with a third of a tablet, without a headache. Cialis is much better but still there is a slight headache for a couple hours or so. I've had a vasectomy and i was circumcised at 6. at 45 i also stated having ed. i am no 70 and doing very well with the meds. good luck.

The vasectomy should have no effect. The circumcision does take away some sensitivity and perhaps arousal from contact would take longer. A certain percent of people over 40 gradually have more difficulty with erections (erectile dysfunction). Viagra gives headaches in migraine prone people. Sometimes reducing the dose, 25 mg instead of 50 or 100 is helpful. Also, after you have used it a few times, the headache effect may go away.

I don't see how a circumcision many years ago can lead to impotence, especially if it was never a problem before. I have never heard of a vasectomy creating impotence (all the docs do is tie-off the VasDeferens).

You are reaching the age when impotence begins showing up. Also the testes usually starts creating problems in men post 40 years of age.

Most likely your estrogen levels are going up and your testosterone is going down. This occurs with man at the age of 45. Do kegel exercises as much as you can and avoid a sedentary life. Avoid red meat and diary with artificial hormones. Use positive visualization of what you want. So you think so you will be...See source for many more tips.
