From experience, I would not reccommend Xenical. It will make you have constant diarhea and anal leakage. You would have to wear an adult diaper to keep it from leaking because it leaks involuntarily. I know it's gross, but unfortunately that is the sideaffect. I only took it for a few days because the sideaffects were terrible. A friend of mine tried Xenical as well and had the same result, only she wasn't as lucky as I was. I took the pill while I was at home, whereas she took it just prior to heading out for lunch with her friends and needless to say...her white pants ended up with leakage stains. Don't waste your money - Xenical works like a lexative from hell. In terms of Kiwis, they also act like laxitives and will make you go to the bathroom if you eat more than 3 at a time, so if that's what you're looking for, maybe you should just try over the counter laxatives and save yourself the consumption of extra calories. However, this is a temporary fix, it is not healthy for your body to always have an upset stomach and will lead to health problems. It is just not worth it. There is no magic pill or magic solution to weight loss. I've tried everything from Xenical, to kiwis, to Xenadrine, Stacker 2, liquid diets, and many others, and the only thing that has worked was diet and regular exercise. With all the other methods you may lose some weight initially but since it's impossible to stick to those unhealthy methods of weight loss, eventually you will have to get off the diet pills and you will gain all the weight back, and then some (speaking from experience). So, don't bother - go with what's been known to work - less caloric intake and more physical activity output.

Originally from China, the kiwifruit was once called a "Chinese gooseberry." The Chinese originally exported seeds to Europe but they were from the same sex of plant (individual kiwi plants are either male or female and the female must be pollinated by the male to produce the fruit), so no fruit was produced. New Zealand was the first country to successfully pollinate the plant and produce the fruit.

New Zealanders named it after the kiwi bird because it is small, oval, and fuzzy like the bird. They insist it be called kiwifruit because just saying "I ate a kiwi" means you ate either a New Zealand citizen or the national bird, both which are illegal.

Kiwi fruit is native to southern China, where it is declared as the "National Fruit" of the People's Republic of China. Other species of Kiwi are also found in China and range east to Japan and north into southeastern Siberia.

It is grown many places where the climate is temperate year round. Maybe the origin is New Zealand. I don't know if the New Zealanders are nicknamed "kiwis" because of the fruit or because of the little birdlike animal that exists only in New Zealand!!! Maybe someone else will know.
