I've seen some ads on either Monster or CareerBuilder or both. You might check there and see what you find. They might not have anything current but if you can find an old listing, it would at least tell you what the requirements are. From what I remember, you needed to know some coding. You could also take a look at job postings on the sites for game manufacturers like Electronic Arts http://jobs.ea.com/.
You could contact the companies that make games and ask to do an informational interview where you ask them questions about the job you want and "sneak" in your experience. This gives you a foot in the door.
Good luck.

Check out the Career page of someone like Electronic Arts. www.ea.com
Thye may have job opening for a tester and you can then read what the requirements are, if they don't you can register a job search agent to e-mail you when a posting comes up.
Are there any video game design companies where you live? Some research there might ne in line too... no point dreaming about a job if you don't want to leave home and there's none in your area.

videogame testing is a in and out process, you need to find the add in either a newspaper or a job-listing paper, (ive done the newspaper once) they let you test a game (30 minutes of gameplay) then you fill out a card on how you enjoyed the game, the graphics, sound ext ext... then they give you your 100 bucks and your out the door
