You need iTunes to load songs to ipod (including any MP3 on your computer). So, you said you already have a lot of music on your computer, you don't need to download from apple itunes, instead, you need to drag those music files to itunes and load them to your ipod (which is free).

If you buy a different brand MP3 player, you can skip the iTunes step and drag those music files onto your MP3 player directly.

It really depends...I'd say 20GB is enough for a regular person.

You can put normal music on an iPod.

Personally? I recomment the Creative Zen Vision: M series of mp3 players, rather than the ipod. They have video playback capabilities, record, have radio, picture-viewer, and more. It has a bigger screen than the iPod, more colour, and a longer battery life. It's been getting really good reviews. I'd reccommend it and a 30GB model.

CD gamers i'm not waiting for an ipod or mp3 participant yet... possibly even as i'm 40 in the experience that they don't seem old by technique of then (i'm 29). I surely have had my digicam for 3 years and there remains likely a collection of stuff i do not comprehend a thanks to do with it yet. Texting, making telephone calls, and taking images is especially a lot all i visit do with my cellular telephone. i do not prefer to flow via all the hassle of downloading songs in basic terms to take heed to them anytime everywhere devoid of the skipping or scratching.

to put your music from the cpu to your mp3 you will need windows media player [its free on microsoft] once you got that you need to put all your music on it then run your format disc...the one you got with your mp3...if you dont have it it might still be able to sync your music anyway...once you are done with tha , plug your usb cable to your cpu then it should read this ..it should say new hardware has been added...if not just go to the media library and you should see in the right corner a messege saying do you want to look at whats on your device or drag files over to be synced...once you are finished dragging files over just hit start sync and you should see a light on your mp3 blinking ....meaning it is accepting your music...once finished disconnect the usb cable....now enjoy
